I'll never be as invested in a show again as I was with The 100, because the ending retroactively ruined all the struggle, growth and themes the show had up to that point. It wasn't even her and the lack of chemistry between Lexa and Clarke in the finale was palpable. Even bringing Lexa back - a truly desperate last attempt to make something emotionally compelling - felt hollow, empty and, ultimately, pointless. Not having him end the series with the other survivors took a lot of joy from an already weak ending.
